Here are some shareware/free-trial FTP applications you can use to directly access your FTP account:
Windows - CuteFTP
Mac - Transmit
On the next page, IE should:
- Display your Client-FTP directory in your browser - download your files by right-clicking (or control clicking on a Mac) and saving the files to your local hard drive.
or
- Launch the FTP application you have defined as a "helper" application in your browser.
Please
make sure you have "FTP Folder View" enabled in your IE Internet
